Anybody have opinions about this? (Especially the women)?

Ok, so I am one of those STRANGE men who is pushing 31 and have never dated nor had a serious relationship before in my life. I had a rough childhood growing up, had no self-confidence during my high school years, had a physically abusive father, and subsequently never had the b*lls to approach a female during high school. Moreover, unlike MOST young Americans today, I did NOT have the opportunity to go DIRECTLY to college after high school due to not having the financial and moral support of my parents like most kids do today. So, instead of getting to go to college, I had to instead join the Marine Corps. While the Marines did bring me out of my shale so to speak, I learned that being stationed in Jax, NC is a HORRIBLE place to be for a single guy for several reasons. Number one, there are only married Marine wives in that town. Number two, Marines are not liked in the eastern part of NC so that makes it that much more difficult unless you have a high school and/or hometown sweetheart that you are dating. So, I proceeded to get out of the USMC, get a job, got laid off, and started going to school. I moved to a smaller city in CO south of Denver where everybody pretty much knows everyone else from growing up here so if you aren't originally from here then you are out of luck as far as dating is concerned. Not only that, but most people who move here are already married since the town that I live in is primarily an Army and AF town. My stepdad tells me that I shouldn't worry about trying to find a g/f right now and should stay focused on my studies. The only problem with that is the fact that I will be in my early 30s and (hopefully) starting work at my first professional career. The only available single women will be single moms because most American women marry no later than 23 and have their first divorce at around my age. I don't care anything about being a dad to a child that isn't mine whatsoever. Not only that, but most women will think that I am either a freak or gay for not having any relationship experience at my age. I think that it would be best for me to just hurry up, finish my degree, get a job, become a hermit, and totally forget that women even exist in this world. Am I messed up or what?
