Can we put one myth to bed please?

They're never going to hear facts that don't agree with their ideals. And you don't need to whitewash it. It was atheists, not simply godless people. And you can toss Hitler into that mix as well. He was clear in his less public statements that he was only pretending to be religious in order to gain and consolidate power.
