Do Christians confuse complexity with order?

Can chaos produce complexity? Yes it can, if given enough time. But can chaos produce order? No, it can't; only an intelligent being can create something ordered. Christians often talk about the human eye and how incredibly complex it is as proof that their god created it. The human eye is complex but it's not ordered. If it was ordered, there would be no natural blind spot, it would not develop cataracts and other disease and it would be better protected from permanent injuries. The human eye is an example of complexity resulting from millions of years of godless chaos. The human eye is not the ordered creation of an intelligent being; it is a complex creation of chaos. Do Christians have trouble understanding this?
